Weekly Update:  Prophetic Sound Bites  July 13, 2010  PRINTER FRIENDLY VERSION 1 Kings 18:41-45  “And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain. 42 So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, 43 And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea.  And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing.  And he said, Go again seven times. 44 And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not. 45 And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain, and Ahab rode and went to Jezreel.” We are definitely in a time where we are hearing many voices and sounds. It is sometimes very difficult to decipher - throughout all the voices/words that are sounding in the land—the true word of the Lord.  As I was in prayer, I received the scripture about the sound of the abundance of rain coming out of the heavens.  The Lord spoke to us in the word of the Lord for July 2010 about the time of an Open Heaven.  “For this is a time of visitation and a time of hearing and understanding; a time for making proper adjustments so that my purposes may be established, says the Lord. So stay before my presence in worship and in your time of quiet devotion, and I will reveal to you greater truths and even revelations that will help you along your way. For in my presence, I will strengthen and encourage your heart.”   “Know that as this is a time of an open heaven and a great awakening amongst my people—I will open your eyes so that you may see the most important things in your life during this time. Will you unite and come together in prayer and seek resolutions? Will you fight against the enemies of your day? Because, I have placed in you, the power to overcome.” (taken from the Word of the Lord July 2010—www.carpenterstouch.org)  An open heaven experience can be when there is: 1.     An angelic visitation relating a direct word from God.  Daniel 8:16 2.     A heavenly realm of God is opened up for an individual so that the purposes of God may be revealed and established. Ezekiel 1 3.     When the presence of God comes down upon a situation or a group of people waiting on God, a sound from Heaven. Acts 2 (Pentecost) 4.     To execute judgment upon the enemy. (The consuming of the Altar before the prophets of Baal) I Kings 18 There are many accounts given in the Bible of God’s servants who were caught up into Heavenly realms so that they could witness or receive revelation of things to come. So what is the Lord saying to us in the above rhema word? Stay in His presence and prepare to see an Open Heaven because the Lord: ·        Desires to reveal great truths, even revelation to help us as we progress from day to day---He knew that the Oil Spill would be going on and even more troubling things to come—notice He also says, “These things will not be resolved overnight.” ·        Will strengthen and encourage us---they that know (in close relationship with) their God --will be strong and do great exploits. ·        Will open our eyes to see----what are the most important things going on in our lives right now. In that same word the Lord asked of us: ·        Will we unite? (pride and self-importance is at the seat of disunity) ·        Will we come together in prayer? ·        Will we seek Him?—for resolution, resolve of the trouble that our nation is faced with. ·        Will we fight?—the enemy of our day.   ·         1 John 3:8 KJV “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”   §        If destroying the works of the enemy is the work of Christ in the earth---then the more become conformed to the image of Jesus—we like Elijah must destroy the works of the devil. §        It’s time to fight---the greatest battle we will ever face will be the one that we face on our knees. So Elijah went up to the top of Mount Carmel and cast himself down and put his face between His knees and positioned himself in prayer.  He sent out his servant to witness the manifestation of God’s word. And upon the 7th time, He saw a cloud the size of a man’s hand. God’s hand converted man’s hand into God’s plan. (If God can get to us –He can get through us.) The word in the Hebrew Qowl means voice, sound, noise, sound of an instrument, frivolity. There are a lot of sounds, even sound bites from the media, words of fear, but I hear the Lord saying cross over---pass over to the sounds that are coming out of the Heavens. As we pray---we are going to see the Heaven come down in ways we have not yet seen. As we pray…a new sound is coming that will break the back of the enemy. As we pray…we will smell the fragrance of the rains coming down out of heaven. As we pray…the cleansing rain—the early and the latter rain--- will begin to wash away the impurities. As we pray—the God that answers by fire will be God (right in the midst of the waters). As we pray—the abundance shall be released from wealthy places, hidden places, from treasures of darkness. Don’t get distracted by the dark clouds and wind, but look upon the great rain of God’s glory that is going to fall upon His people so that the harvest can be established - a new preparation of a new people in Christ Jesus, the glory rain and how to walk in it, that we may be the manifested sons of God and carriers of His glory. It is in the midst of hearing--- the rain will come and it will be heavenly rain—even in the midst of the sounds of the enemy, the rains will fall from heaven. It smells like rain. It sounds like rain. It feels like rain, and abundance is in the midst of it.    Word of the Lord July 2010 by Prophet Phyllis Ford  June 27, 2010  PRINTER FRIENDLY VERSION The following that you are about to read are words that the Lord shared with me throughout several days in this month of June. Quotes are written directly as the Lord spoke them to me, others are dreams, scriptures, and visions revealed to me, as well as direct words of instruction spoken by the Lord. My prayer is that you will read, examine and seek the Lord, and take on the responsibility placed upon you as a believer. We are in a very serious time, and that which was warned to us in May’s word—we are facing some of the results of those circumstances, even serious events to come. “Prepare to meet each day with growing expectation because this is a time that the plans that I have for you will take flight.  You will begin to see the manifestation of your life come alive. For this is a time of visitation and a time of hearing and understanding; a time for making proper adjustments so that my purposes may be established, says the Lord. So stay before my presence in worship and in your time of quiet devotion, and I will reveal to you greater truths and even revelations that will help you along your way. For in my presence, I will strengthen and encourage your heart.” “For even in this day of trouble and chaos, I will visit and speak to you, my people, and I will give you peace to let you know that I am your Lord, and I will uphold you with my own hand. The problems that you see before you will not be remedied overnight, but know that I am able to change things in a moment’s notice.” The Lord spoke to me and let me know that what we are looking at in this Gulf of Mexico situation is serious in nature. I had a dream that I was in a place: The setting seemed to be in a government building of some kind and it appeared to be the lower level---everyone seemed to be moving rather quickly, trying to get things done, and I seemed to be a part of the operation and not just an observer. I was going into the hallway where there were some stairs going up, and a man was carry a large royal blue poster and some banners with him, and he said in a loud voice----"The EPA is depleting!!" during the dream ---he kept going and coming back and saying the same thing until he had done this four times. Then I turned and asked, “I need you to tell me what you mean so that even a child could understand” and he responded and said,  “Well, this is the first day and everything needs to be moving forth, and we need to get things done, but instead, they are fighting and arguing.”  I was then told to do a briefing for the people in the building, and I walked to a large blackboard and wrote "1989."  (At the time that I had the dream, I didn’t realize that the Exxon Valdives situation occurred in 1989.) After that, I woke up. And although I wasn’t fearful, I knew that the Gulf situation is beyond serious and that there was a cover up concerning how serious it is.  Also, the result we are seeing has to do with how we as the body of Christ have allowed government injustices, the negative treatment of Israel from within our own government, and everything from the abortion issue to the growing immorality that has a voice and influence in our nation, and now it has caused an open door for the enemy to enter in and come against this nation. (I will explain future interpretations of the dream in a coming issue.) Time of Awakening/Open Heaven/Take your nation back through prayer and repentance. “Know that as this is a time of an open heaven and a great awakening amongst my people—I will open your eyes so that you may see the most important things in your life during this time. Will you unite and come together in prayer and seek resolutions? Will you fight against the enemies of your day? Because I have placed in you the power to overcome. When I brought Israel into the land of Canaan, and it was determined that was occupied, did it cease to be their land? No. Because of what I established with them by my covenant, and that always remained with them. So they went forth to war and won that which was their land, for I gave to them the land to possess it. “ “So I say to you this day, ‘Now take back your land which was given to you. Pray it back. Win it back with righteous integrity. Win it back with love and unity in my body, which should begin within the house of the Lord, amongst the leadership. Win it back with the unity of my leadership coming together, humbling themselves before me. Win it back with the beauty of holiness enriched in the lives of my people, for they will know how to rebuild.’ ” “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.” Matthew 12:25  “So I say unto you today, ‘Stand as a body of warriors ready to fight for kingdom righteousness-----for I shall lead you forth into the battlefield, and the fight will be established by your commitment to the truth and righteousness in my word; and your battle cry will be the fervent prayers that will bring forth victory.’ ” “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 “For as you cry out to me in repentance, I will open ways in places that you would have never believed could be revealed as ways, nor would you have ever expected. Answers shall come to remedy great dilemmas, and there will be a great humbling amongst the government because of my dealings, for the time for change has reached the doorsteps of the leaders of the nations; and I will uncover, I will bring forth change. So look towards the future, for it’s full of light, for the kingdom of this world will become the kingdom of your God. So prepare yourselves before me. Cry out---with sack cloth and ashes. Pray that I will come, that I will visit, and that I would bring down the heavens to change circumstances to my divine will and purposes, says the Lord.” “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.” 2 Chronicles 16:9 I had a vision about storms coming, and there were violent winds—intercessors and watchman ---we must pray against these ill winds that are coming –they appeared to be destructive winds---I believe that if we pray, we will be able to lessen the strength of these coming winds. The coming glory upon God’s people will carry a protection over His people.  If we pray, I believe that the Lord will stretch out His hand of guidance and protection over us, and there shall be peace even in the midst of the storms and calm in the midst of trouble. “And in the midst of all these things I shall watch over you and keep you, for I love you with an everlasting love. But you must fight, for I have given you the power and the authority to overcome. So drop petty differences within your ranks, and direct the power that I have given to you in the right direction---against the wiles of the enemy. Rise up and take your land back.” “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.”  Isaiah 60:1 “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.” Romans 13:11-12 The Lord revealed to me that in the coming few months, we are about to see such trouble; but in the midst of this trouble, we will see prayer come forth in this land like never before: prayer revivals and people being ushered into the kingdom and a great harvest of souls are wooed into the kingdom. And what Satan mean for evil, will be turned around for the good and the ultimate healing of this nation.  (see the Word of the Lord 2010 )  Word of the Lord July 2010 and beyond June 28, 2010 PRINTER FRIENDLY VERSION Open up your heart and mind, for I have given to you keys to the kingdom so that my righteousness will be revealed and my order may be reestablished upon this earth. For, I will release great signs and wonders. I will turn situations and circumstances around for the glory of the kingdom. For, I am establishing my people by my own right hand. For I will place in the midst of them a new order, peace, and tranquility, but first will come the storm—so pray, my people, gather and hearken diligently and cry out so that victory may be won, says the Lord. So prepare your heart—rend your heart and not your garment, and allow me to establish you in truth, righteousness, and deliverance. For out of it I shall anoint you, ordain you, and lift you up on high. So humble yourselves before me, and I will lift you up, says the Lord. For I will bring you through the troubled waters, like I have done in times pass. But this is the time when man must examine his mistakes and cry out for mercy. For, some of my children have strayed, and it is time to gather them and set them on track. So despise not the day of small things, because great things will come forth in the midst, and I by my own hand shall bless you, consecrate you, and transform you as my own. But this is a time that the nations must change; for if there be no change, no repentance, the condition of this nation will be worst than before---so pray, cry out for your land---cry out for great change--- and transformation shall come to the land, to the people, and to this nation. For, I am the creator of life, and it is time to prepare for the greatest harvest that man has ever known. So wait before me, and watch how I will prepare the right time at the right place: the place that change will come to this nation. This is the time that she must cry out, and she must come to her knees; for the earth is in deep travail and there are some troubling days coming ahead. Gather up food and water. Be ready. Be prepared. For a serious storm is coming upon the land and upon the sea---and there will be fear that will grip the land. But, pray! Cry out! For, I will return and my people shall be spared, but devastation is threatening---look to me, for I speak to you, guide you, and navigate you through troubled waters; and you shall be safe. For, I by my hand have given you the victory. “Stand fast in the liberty wherewith I have made you free and don’t become entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” Galatians 5:1 The earth is purging forth its impurities, and this must happen so that victory will be won. Stay on the path, and allow me to strengthen you in times of darkness. But know that I have prepared things before the foundation of the earth so that my people would be free. Walk in freedom, and walk in the light. Remove dark thinking from your mind. Remember my word. “Finally my brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.  Philippians 4:8” Pray for a change of mindsets; the minds and souls of many have become very dark. Pray for light! Prepare for the harvest; prepare for the light. Pray through the storm, and you will come through.
