Word of the Lord August 2007 Word of the Lord August 2007

  by Prophet Phyllis Ford

PRINTER FRIENDLY VERSION

This is a sober time of assessment, a weighing of balances, and my eyes are running to and fro throughout the earth looking for humble hearts which are perfect towards me. For I will bless the obedient and reprove the proud for the time of my proving is at hand. For as you step into this month, I have prepared the miraculous for those who have been faithful and have walked according to my precepts.  Those who have rebelled and refused change shall be challenged and their consequences will be the result of their resistance to my word.

So press in and press through - for your faith and my love upon you will carry you far, and it will pave the way for the plans that I have prepared, and you will realize the victory that I have accomplished for you. So remember - no matter what you are facing, you can remove the obstacles that stand before you, and I can turn your captivity in one day, saith the Lord. My blessings are being prepared and my judgments are being released, and I will determine the hour of your visitation.

What you see and what you say has everything to do with your positioning as you prepare to reap your harvest. What you plant this month you are going to see the beginning of the fruit come forth in the next month.

The southern belt of states will shift this month (southern California to southern Florida) with days of reckoning, uncovering iniquities, and changes of leadership in the Body of Christ.

Israel will see some new laws established that will favor her and she will begin to renew her strength in this hour. For, I will cover her with the arm of my protection round about her.

Prophetic Insights:

The Lord spoke very clearly and emphatically about this being a time of assessment. He begin to show me how it is so important in this season of assessment to make restitution to others, as best as we can, in order to end a season well.

I thought about being in school when the semester ends. In most schools there are several grades that are figured into obtaining the final grade. There is usually an accumulative grade that covers the assignments of that marking period. Then there is a final exam that carries a separate grade. The final grade is then usually an average of the two. So the final exam can make you or break you.

It’s unfortunate when you worked hard during the semester and tried to complete your daily assignments, then get to the end of the marking period and fail the test.

Sometimes our testing is presented in so many ways: it might be when a brother is overtaken in a fault—do we restore such a one with the spirit of meekness? Or do we judge them—opening ourselves up for judgment. Do we forgive and release others? Do we repent to God and then walk in His statues or wait to get ensnared again only to repeat the process of repentance. Do we stop character assassinations by simply not listening to gossip and instead become a willing participant to prayer. Tests can come in so many ways.

Some may have not done well during the marking period but in the nick of time pulled it together and got an “A” on the final.

We all need to take a good look at where we are and make adjustments so that we may come forth in this time. Only through the grace and love of God will we be able to grow and mature properly. His chastening and His care watches over our souls. He loves us and His love causes change and maturity in our lives and we are indebted to Him. Bless His Holy Name.
