The ending of a thing and the beginning of new things
The Lord said that He would continue to bring closure in the month of January. During this time, you will see the ending of doing things according to man’s will and man’s way. New life will spring forth; this new life will move forward as a result of the divine nature of the life that is in Christ. This new life will change atmospheres - even the thoughts and mindsets that have held people in bondage. There will be a new way established and a new flow of life coming from the people of God. And those who have set their hearts towards the Lord will be changed, transformed, and renewed. For this is a fulfillment of the covenant of the Lord unto His people. There will be an ending to the old struggles as we set our affections upon the Lord and His will. So as we humble ourselves and embrace the new way, answers and resolve will come for issues that have lingered on for so long.
January will be the Genesis for the year
In this month there will be situations that will come up and if there is no resolving of these issues, they will come back to be dealt with throughout the year. So as situations arise—be quick to deal with them. Some will reveal great challenges and others will bring forth great triumphs. But be quick to deal with serious circumstances with prayer and much wisdom, rather than avoiding them. This is a time for diligence and truth. We must be diligent to walk out God’s word for our lives and carry out His instructions. Begin to set regimes, new disciplines, most of all--- add prayer and word study to strengthen you each day, for without it we will sometimes find it difficult to see our way through. The truth must be acknowledged, and whatever adjustments that need to come forth—should be walked out in His grace. Know the truth concerning a thing, live by it, and embrace it, so that change can take place. This will lay a good foundation that we all will need in 2009.
Walking out His will and Seek Him for divine direction
Allow the Holy Spirit to walk you through troubled times and challenges that you may be facing. Know that the Lord’s strength is made perfect in our weakness. If we seek Him concerning the way to deal with situations and trust Him for the answers, He will direct us and reveal to us what we are dealing with and what we must do. The season for doing things and hoping they will work without seeking His direction will prove to be serious and could even lead to snares that the enemy will set up. Stay before Him, pray before Him, and be patient before Him, and you will begin to see things clearly as you wait in His presence. In this new beginning, we are about to be delivered from the things that have held us back for some time. The Lord said that in this new seek, we will begin to walk each day with purpose and power. Watch in the time of great struggle: struggle will try to get us off focus to what He is saying, and what He has already said, and in what He has said is the way that the Spirit of the Lord is directing us. So follow His plain path of Holiness, because it will lead to victory over the flesh with power and dominion so that we may conquer the things that are trying to weigh us down.
Doors of provision
The Lord says, I am opening doors that no man can shut and closing some off as well. We will get new direction and favor to help us move forward. Use wisdom and do things in practical moderation. Some of these doors will be only open for a short season, so utilize the keys of humility and discretion concerning these accesses that have been made for you, and don’t forget the Lord who has prepared these blessings before you. Honor the Lord in your receiving and giving, especially in first-fruits giving. Because in some cases, there will be newly created finances where the Lord will release secrets and unlock divine favor in finances and in new positions.
