Word of the Lord 2009 (released Dec. 31, 2008) by Prophet Phyllis Ford PRINTER FRIENDLY VERSION   The End of a Thing Ecclesiastes 7:8 (KJV) “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.” The Lord says that this month and this year is the ending of matters and the beginning of new things that He is bringing forth. One who is patient and able to wait upon the Lord will enter by His grace into the new that He is preparing. This is the ending of the season of doing things man’s way through man’s will, and the time to embrace the divine nature of God’s will.  The Confrontations of Nations Turmoil-uprising: there will be nations upon nations; even those who were close allies will be at odds with each other as they position themselves for power. Great shaking amongst the nations: the nations will align and line up with either God or man. We will see several confrontations of wars, even amongst Pakistan and even possibly India, fighting battles amongst each other. America must realize that the only involvement that there should be is trying to help towards peaceful resolves, but not to get involved in the battles. These conflicts are the beginning of wars and rumor of wars that are spoken in Matthew 24. The Lord said to be mindful, and steadfast, and to pray that His power be made manifest in the earth for His glory to come upon the earth. These battles are a part of the aligning of the nations -----the sheep nations and the goat nations. America’s Priority is Israel  America’s priority is to watch over Israel: to watch over her, to protect her, and keep her in these troubled times. Within this, the plan of God will come forth. There is one who has the Lord’s heart and will represent her with His wisdom and knowledge. Through him, there will be some temporary resolves. During April and May we must under gird Israel in prayer to avert the perils she will face. Two Movements The Lord is raising up an army of believers who are not afraid- who are radical and will move forward to carry the Lord’s banner of prayer before the people. The youth will be a part of this movement and will carry a great influence; they will gather and show up in great numbers---they shall decree, declare and prophesy----there will be change, because they will carry a strong prophetic anointing and declaration----they will lift up His Name. Another powerful movement in the church will be a movement of prayer. The Lord will raise up apostles, prophets, and people of prayer who will have an awesome effect upon the land through corporate prayer. The glory and presence of the Lord will move mightily in their midst to drive out demons, major principalities and powers. And finally, the people of God will understand that the greatest battle that will be fought and won will be the battle that we will engage upon our knees. “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray. . .” (2 Chronicles 7:14, KJV). There will be movements of prayer, and in the midst great things will come forth. There will be victories over battles with racism, high crime rates, and even evil hoverings that will be over certain cities. They will go and pray, and great change shall come forth. His Grace is Sufficient The grace of God will take on new life and meaning- even a new revelation. Those who stay before Him will walk in some realms that they never thought they would --- miracles, miracles, and more miracles. Technologies, Inventions, Breakthroughs   There will be great breakthroughs in the medical field. Even machinery used in medical technology will be replaced with more efficient equipment with less harmful rays and sources of energy utilized. Energy and efficiency vehicles (not just cars), and equipment will be developed and there will even be breakthroughs in new types of fuel development. Common people will find cures for various ailments. Food Crisis---Water Shortages There will be food shortages—and churches should rise up and have food banks because food shortages are going to challenge us throughout the year. Water shortages will come in the land. Some areas will have to ship water in for consumption due to the shortages that will occur due to how the water was stored, and as a result of contamination the water will (in certain areas) be unfit to drink. The Judgments of God Judgment hit our nation as the financial market gave way and uncovered much of the corruption that had been taking place for sometime, and we begin to see what had been going on within our government. Our housing and banking systems collapsed, and many have suffered at the hands of much injustice. But, the focus was more on man rather than God, and as a result our nation suffered some reality checks.   Some looked to man for revival and not to God, and as a result scandal and division occurred within leadership. Some looked to man for political resolve and not to God, and as a result some were left disappointed. Pride and arrogance, racism and religion took center stage in the church, and the church was tried, challenged, and tested. Deceptions crept in as (so-called) prophetic words instead of trusting Jesus and knowing that no matter what the circumstance—God is in control.    Know that we are about to see a people of integrity rise up and walk God’s people through troubled times and even times of uncertainty into resting places and into places in the things of God.  In the new place, there is to be great strength and light. The Lord is our Kinsman Redeemer The Lord gave me a dream several weeks ago, days before the incident with President Bush having shoes thrown at him. It revealed a symbolic message concerning shoes. Our feet represent the place of authority, even dominion. The word teaches us that our feet are to be “shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace” (Ephesians 6:15, KJV). This is the year that you must know how your feet (authority) are covered. Are we wearing the right shoes? And where are those feet going to take us? “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord” (Psalm 37:23, KJV). Many people believe that if they pray and fast that they will have powerful authority in the things of God, but a very important factor is missing in that equation. If our lives are not lined up in obedience to God, then the power that we think we possess is of none effect. Righteous living by God’s grace has everything to do with having authority. In 2009 our very place of authority in the things of God will be challenged. Major adjustments must be made in order to walk worthy of the vocation by which we have been called (Ephesians 4:1). In 2009, remember the Lord is our kinsman redeemer even though we have suffered lost and have gone through hardships. He is there for us---all we have to do is get to the place where He is and glean in His fields----we will find provision, safety, and protection under His covering. He has laid up an inheritance for us --- know that no matter what, the Lord has vowed to take care of us. He placed His life down to redeem us and keep us even during these tough times. This year by abiding in his fields, we will find financial relief even financial breakthrough. For, is not our Father wealthy, indeed? The Lord said he would release in His fields waves of provision to carry us through lean times. But we must be frugal in our dealings. Some waves of provision will come through land, property, witty inventions, hidden riches in secret places and even treasures of darkness.  ~ Carpenters Touch Ministries ~
