Word of the Lord 2008 (released Jan. 1, 2008) PRINTER FRIENDLY VERSION by Prophet Phyllis Ford Focusing Upon Him The Lord placed emphasis on how important it is to seek Him concerning his wisdom, His direction, and what He wants us to do in regard to what He is doing in the earth during this time. Staying in His presence, prayer, and studying His word will be the only way that we will be able to effectively navigate through trouble, upheaval, war, and warfare on spiritual, mental and physical levels.  Even as we see things that will startle us, shock us, and shake us, if we are connected to Him and we focus on Him we will see victorious breakthrough. Position Ourselves It is important to allow key positioning to take place in our lives. When we press into the things of God and His divine direction, He will place us strategically with the right people at the right time for all the right reasons. Old associations have been tested and revealed. We must make adjustments now and make decisions about relationships that have run their course. As a result, we must move on and not allow these relationships to hinder our growth process in the Lord. Release them and bless them. Promotions and open doors will be accessed as we know and grow.  December’s Download The Lord said very clearly that we all received a download from heaven that will assist us as we enter into 2008. We must understand that major events in our life took place in 2007, so that we may be successful in our circumstances in 2008. 2007 helped us to make major changes in ourselves to aid growth and work patience in our lives. Reflect over this last month and pray. Ask the Father to reveal all that He has imparted into our spirit in order to move forward in His purposes and plans. Our Faith Will Journey Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38  We will see the phrase “The Just shall by Faith” ---The Lord said that these scriptures will carry a significance of its own in this year, 2008. This is a year when faith is the main ingredient that we must have in order to achieve the purposes and plans of God. Our plans will line up with his plans as we begin to walk in the faith that the word of God teaches us. We are going to understand even the flaws in our faith as they are tested and we will see what our faith is worth. We must discard false teaching and embrace the true understanding of the faith of God and faith in God. Faith will also determine whether we are seeking His face and not His hands. We must be careful that our faith is not assessed by what we say, our attitudes, and our emotions. If we are to grow into His fullness we must allow our carnality to not dictate what we say and do. In summary: ·        The ability to accomplish things will be determined by what we believe and how that belief lines up with God’s word. ·        This is a serious time to assess our belief systems. ·        The Lord will move us forward and allow those areas of our flawed thinking to be tested so that we may grow and truly mature. ·        We will live by how and what we believe as well as walk out (lifestyle) in this present time. Praying under An Open Heaven Last year around September and October 2007 the Lord showed us that we entered into the 2nd cycle of seven years during the Jewish Calendar New Year. When we entered Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and The Feast of Tabernacles we were entering into one of the most significant times of the year. The Lord instructed us to go into fasting and prayer and that this would have greater importance as we went into the year of 2008. The Lord said that many things that were held up would be released in 2008. When there is an Open Heaven, God is getting ready to do something major. These are the eight things we will see in this year: Detailed Visions & Revelations are released concerning God’s purposes upon this earth. Blessings/Provision to the obedient (those who have paid a price) Prophetic realms are opened to a whole new level of teaching and understanding of the Prophetic Ministry---God said there are mysteries that have not be written, taught, or released concerning Prophetic ministry that He will unfold to His servants, the Prophets. Judgments/Justice will be released upon systems, principalities and high ranking wickedness. Angelic Activity/ Heavenly Encounters (heaven on earth experiences) Mantles will be released. The Evidence of the True Power, Life, and Ministry of Jesus Christ in the earth as we have not yet seen it. The Power of prayer and intercession with miracle manifestations. Overcoming the Spirit of Leviathan   (click here for additional information) Through the overcoming of Leviathan we will see a major shift in the Body of Christ confronting the spirit of Pride first hand. The Lord will uncover major strategies to destroy its evil workings. A part of the formula was revealed to me in Isaiah 27:1-4 which is: ·        There are certain combination scriptures that will destroy Leviathan. ·        A new sound from heaven in worship ·        Preservation of the fresh waters by cleansing the polluted water (remember this is a water and earth principality) ·        New growth will begin to develop by replanting new seeds that will take root and grow fruit. ·        The spirit of anger/revenge will be broken ·        Evil utterances will lose it power and intentions will be defeated ·        The fire of the Holy Ghost shall consume the residue of its host. by Apostle Miles Ford The Government of God will begin to be established in 2008 by the following things: The Government of God will rise up and deal with false teaching, deception and lies of the enemy.  They will be uncovered and revealed. Repentance amongst leadership and the stronghold of pride being destroyed. Strong leadership will come forth to reform the body with honest integrity, transparency, and sincerity of purpose. Deliverance ministry will move forth with progression as a viable Kingdom process for change and maturity in the Body of Christ. Sound doctrine will be the order of the day in the reformation of the Church that we see today being converted and transformed into true Kingdom Ministries. A new wisdom will arise in this season and mysteries of God will be revealed. Wise counsel will come forth and the kingdom ministries will flow and operate in a corporate anointing taking advantage of the coming together of giftings, offices, and callings to resolved and overcome the issues of the day. Great shakings will continue with more uncovering. The Government of God will be looked upon to assist and even counsel in times of tragic and disturbing occurrences in this nation. Racial barriers that still remain in the body of Christ will be challenged to change, and the walls will begin to be broken down so that a greater unity can be obtained. The Government of God will rise up and speak truth concerning the racial unbalances amongst the Body concerning African American and Hispanic leadership and it will be witnessed that they will be carrying the healing and the anointing for certain challenges that are present in the Body of Christ. In this unity we will see freedom, liberty and the blessings of God will be released in the midst of those gatherings.     Wealth Transfers ·        God is going to transfer great provision for His vision that He will be doing in the earth. We are about to see the wealth of wicked being laid up for the just. As well as hidden riches in secret places even treasures of darkness. ·        True Apostolic Ministry will arise with the finances that have come out of supernatural substances, and they will financially care for and provide for ministries that have need as well as projects to minister to the felt needs of people as they come into the kingdom. True fathers will even take care of their sons and the old traditions will be the exception and not the rule. Great planting of ministry for reforming and transforming of cities and nations will take place. Strategic patterns will be released concerning multiplication, multiplication cycles and feeding the multitude of needs that will demand our attention in this year.
