There was once when a storm arose and Jesus was walking on the water and the disciples feared, (John 6:21) the bible said that they gladly received him into the ship, “and immediately the ship was at the land wither they went.” Here is Jesus allowing the disciples to witness him literally translate them from the middle of a storm- tossed sea to the shore. Why would He want them to see this exercise of authority over time? Because he was constantly demonstrating to them dimensions of the new creation identity which they would have at their access once he had paid the price for the sin of the world: restoring mankind back to the father and re-empowering them with the close relationship and kingdom authority that Adam lost. This is where prophetic ministry and being able to receive prophetic revelation from God has such a great significance in the last days. We learn to live ahead of the curve of time as we embrace prophetic revelation from the Spirit of God. Now there are some of you reading this article which have already dropped out on me. But that’s because of how far behind we are in knowing our true authority and the range of divine ability within our new creation identity. Truth governs all things including time. It is the person of truth, Jesus Christ, whom time was servant to in his earthly ministry. It is Jesus Christ, the truth whom time was a servant to when he was both God and with God in the beginning. John 1:1-3, “All things were made by him: and without him was not any thing made that was made.” Jesus knew that because he created time it was subject to his divine authority as the Son of God.
